arguemant draft

Hello fellow blogers, this is my draft for my arguemant.

Backs do more work than Forwards.


Who do you think does more work in rugby forwards or backs? Hello, today I will be debating about who puts more effort in a game of rugby, forwards or backs.

Forwards they are the engine of the team, they are supposed to physically dominate the other team, by pushing their opposition off of the ball in the rucks, mauls and also in the scrums. The positions, there are 2 props, 1 hooker, 2 locks, 2 flankers, and 1 number 8.
The number 2 is the hooker, they are big and strong and have great ball handling skills, which helps them to accurately through the ball to their teammates in the lineout. They are in the very middle of the scrum with the props on either side of him or her. They are named hooker because when the half-back/scrum half rolls the ball into the scrum it is the hookers job to hock the ball back to their teammate in the scrums. 


 The backs they are the ones that kick a lot and score most of the tries. Their positions are: 9 Scrum-half (Half-back), 10 Fly-half (First five-eight), 11 Centers, 15 Fullback. 13,14 are the Wingers, the left wing is  11 and right wing is 14 they are positioned in front of the full back on opposite sides of the scrum. Wingers are normally the fastest players on the team, and as such play a big role in attack they are usually the ones to finish off the plays by scoring the tries. Swerving, side-stepping and  running with the ball to stop the other team from tackling them these are important skills for wingers they also have the ability to do field kicks. 
When it comes to how far they run it is almost the same, forwards ruan about 6.4 kilometers per game, and the backs run an average of 7 kilometers per game. But when it comes to how many collisions per game one forward averages about 300 tackle, ruck/maul, or collision with the ground per game, when backs only average about 120  tackle, ruck/maul, or collision with the ground per game. Forwards don't get to handle the ball that much but when they do it is usually from a penalty, or a pick and go, backs get the ball a lot more than forwards because backs are supposed to run the ball up field and score tries. Fords don’t score much, when they do it is when they get a pick and go, or they get a break away run. Backs score the majority of tries in a game, the forwards don’t score as much because they are trying to give the ball to the backs. When it comes to kicking forwards like never kick because it is the Fly-half’s (First five-eight) job to kick.


So in conclusion I think forwards and backs put the same amount of effort into a game of rugby.

Arguemant

In literacy we have been looking at arguemants, I am doing mine on forwards do  ore work than backs in rugby, this is what i have done sofar.

Intro

Point 3 - Comparing the effort of the Forwards with the effort of the backs.

Conclusion

literacy

This is what i have done in literacy



to stop robots from taking over the world we need to become robots. 





By helping organise trafic they are preventing crashes therefore less deaths 





Machines have been replacing humans since the first one was created.



I believe that even though technology is changing the way lots of people live I think it is changing them for the good.

Harbison added machinery to his body witch enhanced his vision, and that let him see colours that no one else can see.

Thérèse Izay Kirongozi invented robots that are helping by organising traffic and they are preventing crashes therefore less death, they are also planning on putting them in other parts of Africa. 

The good thing is that machines are letting us be more ambitious and imaginative.


I think it is changing for the good of humanity.

phones in class

Hello welcome to my blog,
This is my reflection on debating. 

Some of the good things that happened were that the teams had strong ideas that were gathered and presented, also another good thing was that some speakers spoke with confidence.

Some bad things were other speakers were lacking confidence when they were telling their ideas, another bad thing was that the speakers kept getting interrupted by others in the audience,also the teams ideas needed to have more evidence and needed to be organised better beforehand. 

I believe phones should be aloud in school, but there needs to be some rules in place.

I believe this because phones allow for the use of some very creative and fun apps that can improve learning and make it more hands on, and the phones are very portable and easy to access, but if we are going to have phones in class we will need some rules so we don’t get distracted in class.

frozen adventure

Hi, I am Ethan from Marshland school and this is my frozen adventure sort story. When I wake up my bunk room is pitch black,It is like living in the belly of a whale the beats against the walls like the whales heart, there are no windows. There are no windows because the sun stays up for half of the year while the rest of the year it is like the dark side of the moon. When I step outside the base, I freeze into a human popsicle. Once I defrost I see penguin and and seals everywhere. I think to myself what an amazing sight. thanks for looking at my blog.

My lit ladder reflection

This is a reflection on how I did this term, I feel it went really well.
This term I completed all my goals except writing because I have not started  writing anything this term.

In reading my goal was to read more. I completed this goal by reading for 5 minutes then 10 then 15 then 20 then 30.

In math my goal was to read word problems carefully by, taking my time, make sure I read the question properly, then check my answer.

My last goal was to be organised by, getting my computer out of my bag in the morning, and have gear ready for the day. 

One of my next goal might be focus more in reading.
